All Burning Desire Candles are made in small batches (never more than 6) and hand poured on Long Island, NY. Extreme care is taken to make sure each one smells amazing and performs as it should. We take pride in offering a vast list of fragrances to choose from. This list is ever growing and always open to suggestion. To get the best of both worlds, all BDC candles are made with a proprietary Soy & Paraffin blend.

Our wax blend
The best of both worlds.
Using soy wax allows a candle to burn slower and last longer. Soy also creates a smoother and creamier look. Soy wax is renewable and biodegradable, made from a highly sustainable crop. Also, soy wax cleans up easily with hot water and soap. Using soy wax is also an investment in American agriculture as we are the world’s second largest producer/exporter of soybeans.
Using paraffin wax allows for EXCELLENT hot and cold throw (what you smell when the candle is lit and when it is not). Paraffin is also less costly, allowing Burning Desire to offer our candles for less.
